The Indonesia Update CD
About the publication
The entire series of books produced in the Indonesia Update series, from 1988 to 2004, is now available on a CD. The Indonesia Update series, organized annually since 1988 by the Indonesia Project, Research School of Asian and Pacific Studies at the Australian National University, Canberra, is designed to be an authoritative review of developments in Indonesia. Each years Update focuses on a particular theme and brings together an expert group of commentators and scholars from Indonesia, Australia, and elsewhere.
Since 1994, the annual proceedings, revised and edited by specialists, have been published by the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies, Singapore.
The Indonesia Update CD contains the full text of 234 articles and is entirely self-contained. Users can view every chapter published during this period on screen, download them, or print them. Chapters are accessible by year, or via author, keyword, or title searches. This is an extraordinarily useful research tool for scholars of contemporary Indonesia and constitutes an unrivalled collection of up-to-date information and analysis on Indonesian economics, politics and social issues.
