This CD is an annotated visual catalogue of Garrett's Kam's exhibition of Ramayana performance photographs, organized by ISEAS and the NUS Museums in Singapore, August to December 2004.
This photo-essay opens a window into the rich Indic epic which underlies much of Southeast Asia's classical visual and performing arts. Since 1997, Garrett Kam, a classically trained dance, has studied, performed and witnessed countless Ramayana dances at courts, temples and festivals in Indonesia, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, and elsewhere.
