Dr. Joseph Wong Wai Chung is the Coordinator of the Development Journalism and Communication of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research interest focuses on international communication systems, advertising and media effects. Currently he is deeply involved in journalism and communication education in Hong Kong as well as the People's republic of China. He is an active member of the Journalism Training Board of the Hong Kong Government and helped to set up the first advertising sequence in the People's republic of China at Xiamen University in 1984.
