Dr. Colin Andrews is a staff memberof the Rockefeller Foundation currently assigned as Visiting Professor in the Faculty of Social and Political Science and Consultant to the Institute for Rural and Regional Studies at Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta. His Ph.D. is in Political Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, US. He has written extensively on rural development in Third World countries as well as on environmental and national planning problems.
