Dr. Lawrence B. Krause is a Professor of the Graduate School of International Relations and Pacific Studies at the University of California, San Diego. He has studied many of the economies of the Pacific Basin when at the Brookings Institution. In 1986 he was a Distinguished Fellow in International Banking and Finance at the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies, Singapore.
