Mochtar Kusuma-Atmadja, presently a practising lawyer, was formerly Minister of Justice (from 1974-77) and Minister of Foreign Affairs (from 1978-88) of the Republic of Indonesia. After obtaining his law degree from the University of Indonesia, he went to Yale University Law School where he obtained his LLM in 1955. He then embarked on an academic career at Padjadjaran University Law School, becoming a professor of Law in 1962.
