Ajit Singh Rye is a Filipino of Indian origin. He was, before retirement, Professor and Dean of the Asian Center, a graduate school for area studies of the University of the Philippines. He is currently the Executive Director of the Philippine and Asia-Pacific Studies Foundation and Program Director, International House, University of the Philippines.
