Nghiem Lien Huong is a Ph.D. candidate in the Social Sciences Program, University of Amsterdam. She has undertaken research on rural-urban migration, gender and the industrial labour force in Vietnam and is currently completing her thesis on female garment workers in Hanoi. She has published several articles on the sociology of work, urbanization, and women in Vietnam.
