Murtedza Mohamed is Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science and Natural Resources, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. He obtained his B.Sc. frrom the same university, and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry fro Brunel University, United Kingdom. Dr. Murtedza has been active in environmental research in Sabah since 1982, and has published about 40 academic papers and 20 consultancy reports on various environmentally-related subjects.
