Paul Chan is presently the Chief Executive of the Asia-Pacific Capital Corporation (APCC), a private firm with investments in manufacturing, trading, management, and consultancy. He was formerly an Associate Professor and Chairman of the Division of Applied Economics in the Faculty of Economics and Administration, University of Malaya. He has acted as an economic consultant to the Government of Malaysia, various local bodies and many international organizations.
