Sham Sani is Professor of Geography at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Bangi, and was the Tun Razak Professor at the Center for International Studies, Ohio University, Athens from 1991- 93. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand. He has taught Geography and Environmental Studies for 22 years. his major area of research is urban climate and air pollution with interests in environmental conservation and related public policy
