Robert V. Roosa

Robert V. Roosa, Ph.D., is a partner in a private banking firm in New York. He is also Chairman of the Brookings Institution, and has held posts as director, chairman, and adviser of various corporations, research organizations, foundations, and international committees. He was for four years Under-Secretary of the Treasury for Monetary Affairs (1961-64), and preceeding that was with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York for fifteen years, having become a Vice President in 1956.
