H W Arndt

H W Arndt is Emeritus Professor of Economics, Australian National University, and Editor of the Asian-Pacific Economic Literature. He was founding Professor and Head of the Department of Economics, Research School of Pacific and Asian Studies, ANU, where he also established the Indonesia Project and the Bulletin of Indonesian Economic Studies. A Past President of the Economic Society of Australia and New Zealand, he has been working on Asian economic development for more than 40 years.
