Thelma B. Kintanar

Thelma B. Kintanar is Professor of English and Comparative Literature at the University of the Philippines. Her interest in Southeast Asian Literature stems from the fact that she has lived and travelled in various parts of Southeast Asia in the past twelve years. Together with scholars from other ASEAN countries, she is currently doing a comparative study of women novelists in the ASEAN region. She has also translated a collection of stories from Thai to Filipino and is presently engaged in a collaborative translation of an Indonesian novel.
