Dr. Harlan Cleveland is Dean of the University of Minnesota's Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs, and Professor of Public Affairs and Planning. He is the recipient of nineteen honorary degrees, Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson Award, and the US Medal of Freedom, and was the 1981 co-winner of the Prix de Talloires, a Swiss-based international award fro 'accomplished generalists'.
